Raspberry Pi 2 Model B is is the latest single board computer launched by the Raspberry Pi Foundation. It is the highest spec variant of the Raspberry Pi, perfect for learning, coding, and creating your own embedded projects. It has 6 times more speed than its predecessors and is useful for embedded projects. It has better features, specifications and performance as compared to its predecessor Raspberry Pi 1. Raspberry Pi was launched in 2012 and has become most popular and successful single board computer in recent times. 1. It is powered with more powerful quad-core Broadcom BCM2836 ARM Cortex A7 processor running at 900MHz, thus enabling the smooth functioning of Snappy Ubuntu Core as well as Microsoft Windows 10.
2. It supports 1 GB RAM which is twice the amount of memory as its predecessor Pi 1, hence it can do multitasking and can run bigger applications smoothly.
3. It consists of 40 pin extended pins out of which there are 27 GPIO pins, CSI and DSI connectors to connect directly to expansion boards and displays.

Final verdict : The Raspberry Pi 2 is less than half the cost of a PS4 or Xbox One game but provides much improved performance. It is quite responsive and easily compatible.
